Accordions

The accordion (squeezebox) was originally patented in 1829.  Since then it has changed considerably from the time when it only had a left keyboard and the right hand played the bellows.  The instrument was popularized in the United States in the Vaudeville era.  It has grown in usage to include musette, an old French ballroom music, chanson singing, polkas, classical music, zydeco, rock and more.

Famous polka players include Lawrence Welk, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Venezualan Roberto Ruscitti, Myron Floren, Los Lobos, Bruce Hornsby, Focus, Buckwheat Zydeco and many others.

We have a variety of accordions for the beginner to the professional.  We're sure you'll find what you need here.
